چکیده

Abstract The autonomous navigation of the spacecrafts in High Elliptic Orbit (HEO), Geostationary Earth (GEO) and Transfer (GTO) based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) are considered feasible many studies. With completion BeiDou with Coverage (BDS-3) 2020, there at least 130 satellites providing Position, Navigation, Timing (PNT) services. In this paper, considering latest CZ-5(Y3) launch scenario Shijian-20 GEO spacecraft via Super-Synchronous (SSTO) December 2019, performance (BDS), Positioning (GPS), Galileo (Galileo) GLObal NAvigation (GLONASS) 2020 is evaluated, including number visible satellites, carrier to noise ratio, Doppler, Position Dilution Precision (PDOP). simulation results show that GEO/Inclined Geo-Synchronous (IGSO) BDS-3 can effectively increase improve PDOP whole process a typical spacecraft, SSTO GEO, especially for opposite side Asia-Pacific region. high orbit multi-GNSSs be significantly improved by employment BDS-3. This provides solution various spacecrafts, such as SSTO, MEO, even Lunar (LTO) lunar exploration mission.

Dynamics of Spacecraft Plume/Magnetosphere Interactions in Geostationary Earth Orbit

Detailed direct simulation Monte Carlo/Particle in Cell simulations involving the interaction of a hydrazine chemical rocket plume with the rarefied ambient magnetosphere are presented for steady thruster firings in geostationary Earth orbit (GEO). The hydrazine chemical rocket plume is modeled as a neutral gas mixture with thruster exit conditions corresponding to a mass flow rate of 5.0 × 10−...

Unclassified Spacelift: Suborbital, Earth to Orbit and On- Orbit

A vision for the future: In 2020, aerospace forces will be a reality. A notional composite aerospace wing, based in the continental United States (CONUS), would include a squadron of rocket-powered transatmospheric vehicles (TAV). These Black Horse vehicles, derived from the Question Mark 2 X-vehicle shown in figure 1 and described later in this paper, will be fighter-sized airframes capable of...

GNSS/INS/Star Tracker Integrated Navigation System for Earth-Moon Transfer Orbit

Over the last few years, new Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) applications have emerged that go far beyond the original objectives of GNSS which was providing position, velocity and timing (PVT) services for land, maritime, and air applications. Indeed, today, GNSS is used in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) for a wide range of applications such as real-time navigation, formation flying, precise ...

Precise Orbit Determination for Low Earth Orbit Satellites

The precise orbit determination problem is to accurately determine the position and velocity vectors of an orbiting satellite. In this paper we review the general contents of the orbit determination process, with particular emphasis on Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. The different orbit determination approaches and the different force models contained within are briefly discussed. The two mai...
